Javed Musa
Founding Member & Executive Producer
Javed Musa is a Founding Member and Executive Producer at Zawiya Network, bringing more than two decades of international experience in television, filmmaking, content production, post-production, and film distribution. His career spans Pakistan, the UAE, Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia, where he has led creative projects for broadcasters, global brands, streaming platforms, and international media organisations.
An accomplished producer, director, editor, and film distributor, Javed has collaborated with leading filmmakers and production teams across Pakistan, India, and Southeast Asia. His expertise covers television production, feature films, documentaries, digital content, commercial productions, and international content distribution.
Throughout his career, Javed has delivered projects for some of the region’s most recognised media platforms and organisations, including Geo TV Network, Astro, Media Prima, Netflix, Prime Video, Mediacorp Singapore, VIU Middle East, and TikTok, as well as aviation and corporate clients across the Middle East and Asia.
Asad Hassan
Founder and CEO
Asad Hassan is a cybersecurity leader, technology strategist and artificial-intelligence specialist. With a career spanning corporate finance, IT leadership, information security and the practical adoption of AI across international organisations, he brings together deep technical expertise, commercial insight and strategic vision.
Asad began his career in finance, working as a Finance Manager on several large-scale Public-Private Partnership (PPP) and Private Finance Initiative (PFI) hospital projects. This gave him extensive expertise in the structuring, delivery and financial management of major infrastructure programmes — experience that continues to inform his understanding of how complex organisations operate at scale.
He went on to lead multi-territory technology and security operations for a global financial services group, overseeing infrastructure, governance, risk and cyber resilience across offices in Europe, North America, South America and Asia-Pacific.
Gurmeet Singh
Host, Producer & Content Creator
Gurmeet Singh is an experienced television host, producer, and content creator with more than 15 years of experience in broadcast media and digital storytelling.
Originally from Faisalabad, Pakistan, and now based in Malaysia, he has built a career creating engaging content for television and social media audiences across diverse platforms.Having worked with a number of television channels in Pakistan, Gurmeet has developed a strong reputation for his on-screen presence, production expertise, and ability to tell authentic human stories that connect with audiences.
At Zawiya Network, Gurmeet serves as a Host and Producer, leading the network's landmark documentary series The Guru Nanak Trail. Drawing on his cultural understanding, international experience, and passion for meaningful storytelling, he plays a key role in creating content that celebrates heritage, promotes dialogue, and connects communities across borders.
Mujtaba (Muji)
Producer & Host
Mujtaba, widely known as Muji, is a producer, host, filmmaker, and creative storyteller with a strong background in television, film, and digital media. With more than six years of experience in the media industry, he has worked across production, directing, presenting, and content development, bringing a fresh and versatile perspective to every project.
Having started his career as a child actor and model in the UK, Muji later pursued professional filmmaking, earning a degree in Film from London. He has since directed a number of short films and local television productions, developing a reputation for his creativity, attention to detail, and strong visual storytelling.
As a Producer and Host at Zawiya Network, Muji plays a key role in developing and producing original content across the network. His expertise in writing, directing, producing, and on-screen presentation enables him to contribute throughout the creative process, from concept development to final delivery.
Zafar Zaidi
Executive Producer – Zawiya Films
Zafar Zaidi is an accomplished executive producer, director, and creative leader with more than 30 years of experience in film, television, advertising, and commercial production.
Throughout his career, he has worked with leading television networks and international brands, directing and producing high-profile commercial campaigns and visual productions across Pakistan and the UAE.Renowned for his expertise in large-scale productions, cinematic storytelling, and visual execution, Zafar has successfully led creative teams on projects ranging from television programming to international advertising campaigns.
At Zawiya Network, Zafar serves as Executive Producer of Zawiya Films, leading the development of the network's film division. He is spearheading Zawiya's debut animated feature film, Kaka Qurban, overseeing its creative and production strategy while working closely with international animation and VFX teams, including specialists in Dubai, to deliver world-class visual storytelling.
Syed Athar Ali

With over 20 years of experience in Pakistan’s media industry, he has worked across television, commercials, dramas, branded content, and digital productions. His career included leading productions from planning to final delivery, managing teams, budgets, and operations to ensure quality results.Most recently, I served as General Manager Productions at BOL Media Group.
One of the highlights of my career was producing Pakistan’s most expensive branded web series for ARY in 2025, sponsored by Sunsilk.Over the years, I have worked with leading production houses including Plan B Media Group, 7th Sky Entertainment, ARY Digital, and A&B Productions, as well as renowned brands such as Nestle, Nescafe, Sunsilk, Tapal, EBM, Dettol, Harpic, Sony, Coca Cola, Ariel, and Olper’s.

As a Head of Human Resources at Zawiya Network, Unzela leads the organisation's people strategy, talent development and organisational culture, helping to build a collaborative and high-performing international team.
Alongside her leadership role in HR at Zawiya Network, Unzela is also a Producer and Host, creating original content focused on health, wellbeing, and personal growth.She leads Zawiya Malaysia's Wellness Hub, where she hosts programmes, wellness discussions, yoga sessions, and lifestyle content designed to inspire a healthier and more balanced living with a mindful approach.
Dale Birch Arnie

Dale Birch Arnie is an internationally experienced music producer, television producer, and creative executive with more than 30 years of experience across the music and broadcast industries.
Throughout his career, he has worked with some of Pakistan’s most celebrated artists, including Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Hadiqa Kiani, Sajjad Ali, and many other leading musicians. Alongside his work in music, Dale has spent more than 25 years producing television content for major Pakistani broadcasters, including Geo TV, ARY Digital, Aaj TV, and Bol TV.Now based in Canada, Dale runs his own production house, creating music, television, and digital content for a diverse international audience.
As Executive Producer at Zawiya Network, Dale contributes his extensive production experience, creative leadership, and deep understanding of music and television to the development of the network’s entertainment and original content.

Sabine
Head of Social Media & PR
Sabine is a digital marketing strategist and social media specialist with expertise in audience growth, content strategy, influencer partnerships, and brand communications. She leads Zawiya Network's social media operations, ensuring the network's content reaches audiences across multiple platforms through innovative and data-driven digital campaigns.
As Head of Social Media & PR, Sabine oversees dedicated teams managing Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube, developing platform-specific strategies that maximise engagement, audience growth, and brand visibility. She works closely with the creative and production teams, particularly alongside Farhan Shahzad, to ensure every piece of content is optimised for digital success.
Sabine also collaborates with Zafar Zaidi and the animation team to coordinate the network's animated and short-form content strategy. In addition to leading social media, she manages influencer relations and public relations, building strong partnerships that expand Zawiya Network's reach and strengthen its presence across Pakistan and international markets.
Farhan Shahzad

Farhan Shahzad is an internationally experienced director, cinematographer, and creative strategist with more than 20 years of experience across broadcast television, digital media, corporate communications, music, and live events.
Throughout his career, he has delivered hundreds of productions for leading television networks, multinational brands, government organisations, and international events across Pakistan and the UAE.
His expertise combines cinematic storytelling with digital strategy, creating content that is both visually compelling and commercially effective.At Zawiya Network, Farhan leads creative production and visual storytelling, overseeing the development of original programming, documentaries, branded content, and international productions.
